You should book a flight and arrive at Sumbawa Besar Airport in the morning. If you arrive in the evening, the program will start the next day.

Itinerary for Tambora Trekking Via Doro Ncanga
Day 1: Sumbawa Besar Airport – Doropeti Village, Dompu
11.00 You will be picked up at Sumbawa Besar Airport.
12.00 Continued journey to Doropeti Village. Lunch will be at a restaurant found along the way.
18.00 Arrive at Doropeti Village, register at the National Park, then check into homestay.
19.00 Dinner around Doropeti Village and briefing for the trek preparation.

Day 2: Climbing Mount Tambora Using Hardtop (B, L & D)
08.00 Morning call, breakfast, and trek preparation.
09.00 Start trekking towards Post 2.
11.00 Arrive at Post 2, take a short break, then proceed to Post 3.
13.00 Arrive at Post 3, pack belongings, rest, and have lunch. After lunch, free time to enjoy the beauty of the savanna at Post 3.
19.00 Dinner and rest.

Day 3: Climbing to the Peak of Mount Tambora (B, L & D)
03.00 Morning call and preparation for climbing to the peak of Mount Tambora Via Doro Ncanga.
03.30 Start trekking towards the peak.
05.30 Arrive at the peak, enjoy the natural beauty and sunrise.
06.30 Descend back to Post 3, take a short break, pack belongings, and have breakfast.
09.00 Descend to Post 1.
13.00 Arrive at Post 1, rest, and enjoy lunch around Doropeti Village.
14.00 Journey continues back to Sumbawa Besar City.
20.00 Arrive at Sumbawa Besar City, dinner, and you will be escorted to your accommodation around Sumbawa Besar City. Program ends.
- The above itinerary is flexible, adapting to the conditions on the spot.
- In some of our previous programs, there have been climbers who were not able to continue to the peak, so it is highly recommended to warm up before starting the climb at least 7 days before (jogging and going up and down stairs)
- It is not advisable to participate in the Tambora trekking program for participants who have respiratory problems, coronary heart disease, epilepsy, high blood pressure, indications of vertigo, and other serious illnesses.

- The number of hardtop vehicles used from Post 1 to Post 3 Tambora via Doro Ncanga, will be adjusted according to the number of participants with the following details:
- Participants 1 – 5 people use 1 Unit Hardtop
- Participants 6 – 10 people use 2 Units Hardtop
- For transportation from the pick-up location at Sumbawa Besar Airport to Doropeti Village using: pickup location to Senaru Village, the following vehicles will be used:
- Participants 1 – 4 people use Avanza/Ertiga/Xenia or similar type of vehicle
- Participants 5 – 6 people use Innova
- Participants 7 – 8 people use 2 Units Avanza/Ertiga/Xenia or similar type of vehicle
