- From Mataram, head towards Lembar Harbour by way of Gerung town in West Lombok.
- About 500 metres before Lembar Harbour, turn right towards Cemara Beach.
- After another 500 metres, turn right at the junction and keep going until you reach the Lembar water police office.
- Take the small lane beside that office. Both cars and motorbikes fit through easily.

Early morning and late afternoon are the two best windows. Mornings bring fresh air and the sunrise, while afternoons turn romantic as the sun goes down.

- Walk the wooden boardwalk: There is a 200-metre wooden bridge, still being extended. The structure is solid and safe to stroll along while you take in the surroundings.
- Take photos and shoot content: The place is very photogenic. Bring props such as colourful balloons, plus a DSLR, your phone or a GoPro, to capture your best moments.
- Take a boat through the mangroves: Boats are available for hire at Rp7,000 per person, letting you enjoy the mangrove forest from a different angle.
