All rates are per person and tiered by group size — the more people in your group, the lower the price each. Private departures are available for every package at a higher per-person rate. What Every Price Includes

• Round-trip transport from Lombok International Airport, Mataram, or Senggigi
• One-night basecamp accommodation before the trek
• Mount Rinjani National Park entrance fees (PNBP) for your full trek duration
• e-Rinjani permit — we register you through our authorized organizer allocation
• Trekking and evacuation insurance (mandatory from 2026)
• Licensed, English-speaking local guide and professional porters for shared gear
• Full camping equipment: tent, sleeping bag, mattress, cooking set, table & chairs, toilet tent
• Three meals a day plus snacks and drinks on the mountain
• Drop-off after the trek to Senggigi, Mataram, the airport, or Bangsal Harbor

Not included

• Flights to Lombok and accommodation after the trek
• Tips for your guide and porters (optional, always appreciated)
• Personal gear rental such as trekking shoes and jackets — we can help arrange
• Personal expenses outside the package

The Official Costs Inside Your Package

Since November 3, 2025, Mount Rinjani is a Class I national park under Ministry of Forestry Regulation No. 17/2025, with entrance fees charged per day:

On top of entrance fees, every climber must be registered in the official e-Rinjani system — the park caps the mountain at 700 climbers per day across all routes — and must carry evacuation insurance, including helicopter evacuation if needed. Our prices already cover all three, and we handle the paperwork.

What Makes the Price Go Up or Down

• Group size — per-person rates drop as your group grows
• Duration and route — a 5-day traverse costs more than a 3-day summit push
• Private vs shared departure — private trips cost more per person but run on your schedule
• Add-ons — a personal porter or gear rental adds to the base rate
• Season — around peak months, the 700-per-day quota fills fast; booking early protects the rate you see

Where Your Money Actually Goes

A Rinjani package isn’t one product — it’s a small expedition bundled into one price. Your rate pays for a licensed, English-speaking guide and the porters who carry the shared gear; a full camping kit (tent, sleeping bag, mattress, cooking set, table and chairs, toilet tent); three cooked meals a day plus snacks and drinks on the mountain; round-trip transport between Lombok airport, Mataram, or Senggigi and the trailhead; a night at the basecamp before you start; your park entrance fees for the whole trek; and the evacuation insurance that became mandatory in 2026.

There’s one more line item that’s easy to overlook: the permit itself. Every trekker must be registered through the official e-Rinjani system, and the park caps all routes at 700 climbers per day. We secure your slot through our authorized trekking-organizer allocation — so when you compare quotes from different operators, check that every item above is actually on their list.

Organized Package vs DIY: What You’d Still Pay For

Going independent doesn’t make most of these costs disappear — it just moves them onto your to-do list. You’d still pay the same official park fees per day, register yourself on e-Rinjani and compete for one of the 700 daily quota slots, rent camping gear, buy and haul your own food and water, and arrange transport to the trailhead on both ends. What looks like a saving mostly shifts work and risk onto you — and in peak months, the hardest thing to buy last-minute isn’t gear, it’s the quota slot.

How Prices Compare Across Routes & Durations

The two 3-day programs share the same starting rate but deliver different experiences: 3D2N via Sembalun (IDR 2,850,000) takes you to the 3,726 m summit, while 3D2N via Aik Berik (IDR 2,850,000) is the quieter, rim-viewpoint alternative. Each extra day mostly buys you more mountain and gentler pacing — the 4D3N (IDR 3,860,000) adds Segara Anak Lake and the hot springs, and the 5D4N (IDR 5,370,000) spreads the same journey over the most relaxed schedule. Booking Timeline & Payment

Rinjani’s trails close every 1 January–31 March; the official season runs 1 April to 31 December, and May, June, and September are the most comfortable months. In July–August the 700-per-day quota often sells out weeks ahead, so lock your dates early if you’re traveling in peak season. Booking works the same for every package: a 30% down payment confirms your dates, and the balance is settled on day one of the trek. A Word About Very Cheap Offers

If a quote is far below the rates on this page, something on the list above is usually missing — often the insurance, the official permit, or fair pay for the porters who carry your camp. Whoever you trek with, ask for the full inclusion list in writing before you pay a deposit. We publish ours because we’re happy to be compared line by line.
