The Aik Berik Route is an official route located in Central Lombok Regency. Unfortunately, traversing the Aik Berik Route will not take you to Lake Segara Anak or the summit, only up to Pelawangan. But don’t worry, the experience and natural beauty along the trekking route will not disappoint you.

Day by Day
Itinerary for Rinjani Trekking Package Via Aik Berik
Day 1: Lombok International Airport – Hotel in Mataram
Dinner included
On the first day, you will be picked up at Lombok International Airport according to your arrival time.
Afterwards, you will be taken to the Idoop Hotel in Mataram.
During dinner time, we will pick you up again at the hotel to go out for dinner while briefing you for the climbing preparation for the next day.
After dinner, return to the hotel and rest.
Day 2: Mataram City – Aik Berik Village
Lunch & dinner included
At 07:30 in the morning after breakfast at your hotel in Mataram, you will be picked up to together head towards Aik Berik Village, Central Lombok.
The journey takes about 1.5 hours using the vehicle we have prepared.
Upon arrival at Aik Berik Village, first register at the Rinjani National Park Office. After that, take a motorcycle taxi to the forest gate, which is quite far.
The trekking journey begins from the Forest Gate with the following travel durations:
Forest Gate – Post 1 (Monte) at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level takes about 2 hours of travel.
Post 1 – Post 2 (Kayuk Malang) at an altitude of 1400 meters above sea level takes about 3 hours of travel. At Post 2, our porters will also serve lunch for you.
Post 2 – Post 3 (Cemara) at an altitude of 1,850 meters above sea level takes about 2 hours of travel. At Post 3, we will set up tents for rest and dinner.
Day 3: Post 3 – Pelawangan Umar Maya – Mataram/Senggigi City
Breakfast & lunch included
On the third day, you will be woken up early enough to enjoy breakfast and catch the sunrise.
After breakfast, continue walking back to Pelawangan Umar Maya at an altitude of 2,508 meters above sea level.
Pelawangan Umar Maya will be the final point of the climb. From here, you can see Lake Segara Anak and the peak of Mount Rinjani across the lake.
After enjoying the natural beauty of Pelawangan Umar Maya, descend back to Post 3, have lunch, pack your belongings, and then descend back to Aik Berik Village.
Expected to arrive at Aik Berik Village in the afternoon.
After that, your transportation will be waiting to take you back to Mataram/Senggigi City/your next destination. Program completed.
The above itinerary is flexible, depending on conditions in the field.
It is highly recommended to warm up before starting the climb at least 7 days before the climb.
It is not advisable to participate in the Rinjani trekking program for participants with respiratory problems, Coronary Heart Disease, Epilepsy, High Blood Pressure, Vertigo indications, and other dangerous diseases.

- The number of guides used will adjust according to the number of participants with the following details:
- 1 – 5 participants will be accompanied by 1 guide
- 6 – 10 participants will be accompanied by 2 guides (one in front and one behind the participants)
- The number of porters used will adjust according to the number of participants with the following details:
- 1 participant will be accompanied by 1 porter
- 2 participants will be accompanied by 2 porters
- 3 – 4 participants will be accompanied by 3 porters
